Instalation and happening
Sanus design is an effect of Aleksandra Kubiak’s a couple-month work in the Millenium Park. The artist invited organisation concerning disabled people (FAR) in Zielona Góra to cooperation and planning the happening. Within the boundaries of the project invited guests – including clerks, members of the city council, the media and common people changed with the disabled people each other place by venturing parks paths in the wheel chair.
The project is a response for poor infrastructure in the park, which is mostly the lack of ramps for disabled and baby carriages. The artist focused on the closest neighbourhood and mutual relation between a hospital and the park. With analysis of this joint presence and their common influence the installation and the happening is a conclusion is a necessity the merge of them for the sake of patients and their visitors.
Sanus design in this particular project stands for designing universally for health that the public space is accessible for all citizens and does not compromise their safety.
